OUR LETTER TO FUTURE BRIDES AND GROOMS
Congratulations! You have a whirlwind of decisions to make concerning the “Big Day”. Choosing your reception place and caterer are the most nerve-racking decisions of your planning experience. Maxfield’s has almost 50 years of experience in doing rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions. Up until this past spring we could only accommodate a reception of approximately 130 guests. Today, with the addition of our beautiful white tent with cathedral windows, we can now accommodate receptions from 175 to 600 guests!
Outside! In a tent! How can that be beautiful? I assure you it is---it is spacious; has white tube lighting surrounding the interior and up into the highest peaks. It borders a luscious green lawn that is wonderful for outdoor bride and groom or group pictures. It is just like renting a hall, but it has more character! Some of our brides and grooms are planning the wedding right in the tent, too. Ceremony on one end and walk to the other side and you are at the reception. How convenient is that. Concerned because you are having a spring or fall wedding and it might be cold or nasty? Well, we can heat the tent and your guests will never notice the chill from outside. Getting married in the summer and wondering if a tent will be too hot? Just open a couple of panels and the night breeze will keep your partiers a bit cooler. And this season it rents for just $500 on a Saturday night!
What about your dinner? Maxfield’s Restaurant is known far and wide for their tasty meals, and our wedding meals begin at just $11.00 a plate. Your worries are over. Put your reception and dinner in our hands and all you will have to think about is the wedding! Not having a big reception? Don’t let that stop you from inquiring about our banquet facilities and prices inside the restaurant. We will be happy to help you plan your reception be it inside or out.

BIG TENT AVAILABLE FOR WEDDINGS AND PARTIES
Maxfield’s Big Tent is a wonderful addition to the community. With seating capacity of approximately 600, we can now offer Maxfield’s famous food and great service to very large groups. Family reunions, class reunions, funeral luncheons, wedding ceremonies and receptions, antique car clubs, motorcycle club activities, trade shows, conferences---if you need a large space---the tent is your answer. MEETING ROOMS AVAILABLE UPSTAIRS AT THE DEPOT
The Depot is now offering small conference or meeting rooms upstairs. Need space for a meeting or seminar? The Depot could be the perfect spot. No room at your house for the bridal shower, baby shower or jewelry party---no problem---just book one of The Depot rooms. Call 427-5256 for room rental and catering details.
FREQUENT DINER PROGRAM
Maxfield’s Restaurant Frequent Diner Program is more popular than ever!! We have hundreds of members who are saving money by dining with us on a regular basis. The program is simple. Sign up when you come dine with us and we will give you 50 points for joining. Then dine with us for either lunch or dinner or in our pub downstairs at least once every 30 days and you will get 1 point for every dollar you spend (pre tax). Then, when you reach 100 points, you earn $10.00 in credit. For your birthday we give members a birthday present of 100 points, so there is another $10.00 credit to be used in the month of your birthday. What makes it a Frequent Diner program is that you must add to your points at least once in every 30 days or you lose the points you have accumulated. It has been great fun and a great savings for our frequent guests. Come join us.
FRIENDS PUB HAS BEEN BURSTING AT THE SEAMS
It is certainly no secret now!!! Guests have discovered our great little pub in the lower level of the restaurant. “Great Maxfield food at tavern prices.” Friday and Saturday evenings from 5:30pm to 8:00pm, guests can enjoy one of our great little buffets “downunder”. Each night the buffet has Broasted chicken and deep fried perch and the third entrée changes each night: Friday is deep fried cod and Saturday is Swiss Steak. Your meal is rounded out with potatoes, vegetables and either cole slaw or tossed salad. All for just $9.99!!! What a fabulous evening meal at rock bottom pricing. Sometimes it is standing room only, but guests don’t seem to mind. They enjoy a beverage and wait for their turn, knowing that this is a meal worth waiting for. If the buffet is not your choice, Friends has a great menu of appetizers, sandwiches, and full entrée meals. So if you haven’t joined us for dinner at Friends, it is time you did. We don’t take reservations in the pub, like any tavern it is first come first serve. And as you know, you will always receive the warm and friendly service that is a hallmark of Maxfield’s.
WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE DEPOT
Discover the “Disneyland of convenience stores” in Edmore at The Depot. Open 24 hours a day this store is certainly a one-stop-shop for all your needs---walk in beverage cooler, beer and wine, cigarettes, snacks and grocery items, Cheese Haus cheeses, deli items, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, free coffee on Mondays, hot breakfast, lunch and dinner, ATM machine, money orders, Western Union, greeting cards, gifts, magazines, ice, RV dump station, LP gas fill, and a car wash---WHEW----that’s a lot of services!!!! But, wait, there is more:
Join our Frequent Fueler program and save 2 cents off every gallon of fuel you purchase---no minimum purchase required. Ask for more details in the store! Also, don’t forget about our full service at some of the gas pumps anytime. Just honk your horn; call us at 427-5256 on your cell phone or step into the store and ask for assistance.
The Depot serves a great hot breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a great selection of subs and sandwiches made to order. Break the burger habit; try a great Maxfield sub.
You can take out or eat in the comfortable Dining Car inside The Depot. Lots of restaurants and pubs have “Friday Night Fish Fry”, but no one makes it better than Maxfield’s. You get our lightly battered 8 piece deep fried perch, coleslaw and fries for just $5.99. Friday nights never tasted so good! You can get Maxfield’s famous Broasted chicken dinner with fries and cole slaw ---2 piece dinner is just $4.99, the 4-piece dinner is just $5.99, or buy it by the box. Call in your order ahead and just stop in and pick it up---fast, convenient and oh sooo good.
